Site works were completed three weeks ago with the removal of the existing bridge across Bateup stream. TDC carried out their final site inspection yesterday and CJ's are now attending to the SNAG list. CJ's have also marked out the location of all the stormwater detention tanks so the builders know where they are! It's just a matter now of working through the 224 process with TDC.

Thelins now have the abutment in place on the eastern side of Poutama Stream and the pier in place in what will be the middle section of the bridge. The eastern half of the bridge is being constructed first. In a couple of weeks the first beams will be craned into place :-)

Stages 1 & 2 - we are awaiting issue of 224. There is a lot of activity in Stage 3. Power, phone & water have been laid along the left hand side of Barham Place. Donaldsons are now putting in the sewer and stormwater laterals. IKC are booked in for mid next week to start on the kerbing. It's all go when the weather allows!

Asphalting of the intersection and cul de sac was completed on Thursday. Site works will be 100% complete once road marking happens this coming week :-) Donaldsons have been attending to the last few items on the council inspection list. Land Dimensions and others are working closely with Nelson City Council to assist their processing of 224. Once 224 is issued we will have a much better idea of when titles can be expected.

The new Richmond water treatment reservoir is really taking shape now with all the precast panels installed. Scaffolding is now in place in preparation for the in situ pours between each panel which will take place over the next few weeks. There's a lot of engineering skill & expertise in constructing a tank this size!

In Stages 1 & 2 the road is now prepped, manholes are being raised today and sealing is booked for mid next week. It's challenging getting enough drying at this time of year so here's hoping the road dries out more in the next few days so sealing can definitely proceed! IKC are back on site to finish the last of the footpaths and complete the area around the sewer pump station. Enviroplus completed planting the detention pond this week. Donaldson's have completed a large section of the water and sewer mains in Stage 3.
